Outreach Reporting
The Enhanced Outreach Reporting module, which is an extension of
PowerPath, allows pathologists to enhance their patient reports
and meet unique reporting needs of their customers. The
pathologist can add diagnosis-specific color-coded body site
maps to GI and prostate patient case reports.
Synoptic data for each specimen is saved in discrete tables and
available for case searches.
Beyond Standard Reporting
PowerPath’s resulting tool simplifies data entry and saves data
to a protected section on the report using Microsoft® Word®.
Data integrity is ensured by using this resulting tool for all
data edits. Database and patient reports are synchronized at all
times.
Enhanced Display Options
The system offers enhanced display options in addition to a
color-coded body site map which allows the user to easily insert
summary specimen and diagnosis data elements into the patient
report. Specimens may be sorted based on color-coded diagnosis
markers to alert the referring physician to the malignant
specimens. The new enhanced report provides referring physicians
a more descriptive format for use in patient consultations.
Efficiency in Diagnosis Entry
To facilitate data entry, menu options can be customized and
selected from a dropdown menu during specimen resulting. To
minimize data entry keystrokes for specimen resulting, both
Gross Resulting and Microscopic Resulting menus are included in
one module. This new resulting tool allows diagnostic data entry
and case management to be executed as a single time-saving
event.
Modifying the Report
Diagnosticians can easily modify the report to augment specimen
descriptions, diagnoses, etc., when additional comments are
required.
