MOSAIQ™ for
Medical Oncology v.1.20 is now in pilot!
MOSAIQ 1.20 provides some new exciting
features:
3D viewing capabilities for CT, CBCT and MR. As a integrated part
of the MOSAIQ image enabled EMR, this capability is available at any
workstation that can access MOSAIQ. This viewer provides you with a
3 plane display as well as an 'open book' view to aid in slice
navigation. There is also a Review Mode that displays an acquired
CBCT overlaid on the Reference CT.
The new UI is
also available in 1.20.
MOSAIQ provides
a new user interface paradigm. The user interface brings together
information from various parts of the EMR to a single configurable
workspace. It provides a configurable Home screen that allows users
to customize a personal workspace for optimum efficiency; MOSAIQ's
new Chart screen allows each cancer center to customize the
electronic chart to meet its specific guidelines.
As mentioned
previously, SYNERGISITQ™ and MOSAIQ Oncology PACS™ are in Beta as
part of 1.20.
SYNERGISTIQ is
a combined and integrated workflow between MOSAIQ, the Elekta
Desktop Treatment Console, and the Elekta XVI application. The
SYNERGISTIQ configuration provides a streamlined workflow for kV
image acquisition.
MOSAIQ Oncology
PACS is a comprehensive data management and storage solution that
integrates data from the patient’s electronic medical record in
MOSAIQ with archived images, plans and supporting documentation.
MOSAIQ Oncology PACS is specialized for oncology and provides a
single, central repository for data and images that are critical to
the care of the cancer patient.
This release
also offers new Clinical Trial tools and Clinician Worksheet updates
including workflow enhancements.” |

caBIG 2007:
Clinical Trial Eligibility Determination using MOSAIQ
On February 7th,
2007, IMPAC presented a technology demonstration at the annual
meeting of the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG). caBIG is
the National Cancer Institute's initiative to accelerate research
discoveries and to vastly improve patient outcomes by linking
researchers, physicians, and patients throughout the cancer
community.
IMPAC and the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups (CCCG) have
developed a real-time, secure Internet interface between MOSAIQ and
TrialCheck, the CCCG's clinical trial database. This function
compares patient parameters against those associated with clinical
trials contained in the TrialCheck database. An instantaneous
resultant listing of matched clinical trials is provided to the
MOSAIQ user.
