IMPAC and the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups are working together to incorporate the Coalition’s TrialCheck® search engine into the MOSAIQ™ electronic medical record.

Mountain View, CA, 29 May, 2006
IMPAC Medical Systems, Inc. (IMPAC), an Elekta company and a leading provider of oncology information technology solutions, and the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups, the nation’s only non-profit organization whose sole focus is on cancer clinical research, are working together to incorporate the Coalition’s TrialCheck® search engine into the MOSAIQ™ electronic medical record.

The mission of the Coalition is to improve the quality of life and survival of cancer patients by increasing participation in cancer clinical trials. The Coalition brings together health professionals, patient advocate groups, and federal and state governments to focus attention on clinical trial issues.

IMPAC and the Coalition are committed to increasing the awareness of clinical trials as a treatment option that should be discussed with every cancer patient. TrialCheck uses the most up-to-date database of cooperative group and industry trials. MOSAIQ customers will have seamless access to TrialCheck, will be able to customize the MOSAIQ trial database with the trials that are open at their institutions, and will be able to automatically screen for patients who are potentially eligible to participate in clinical trials.
