IMPAC-JRM Best Paper Award. IMPAC and JRM join

in the journal during the year 2005. The awards were presented
to the prize-winning co-authors during NCRA’s Annual Education
Conference, May 5 – 8, 2006, in Washington DC.
The Best Paper Award went to, “Accuracy of Cancer Registry
Data When Treatment Is in the Ambulatory Setting: Implications
for Quality Measurement”, published in the Spring 2005 issue of
JRM. Jennifer L. Malin, MD, PhD; Lorna Kwan, MPH; John
Adams, PhD; Marianne Laouri, PhD; & Patricia A. Ganz, MD
co-authored this paper, and Dr. Malin accepted the award on
behalf of her team at the NCRA Awards Breakfast on Sunday May
7th.
“The Best Paper Award is granted to authors publishing the
highest quality papers addressing topics which are significant
to registry professionals,” stated Herman R. Menck, MBA, editor
of Journal of Registry Management. “Each year we are
