Mountain View, CA,

IMPAC is again leading the oncology field by announcing the
implementation of its Multi-ACCESS™ oncology management system in
a multi-site medical oncology facility: Oncology Hematology
Associates of Central Illinois (OHACI).
OHACI medical center consists of 16 facilities spanning
approximately 60 miles and staffed by over 30 medical oncologists
and nurses. “IMPAC’s Multi-ACCESS system – including eCHART™ for
medical oncology – has been implemented as a means to fully
integrate OHACI’s clinical and administrative systems,” explains
Barbara Robbins, RN, MBA at IMPAC.
“It is our hope that eCHART will assist our professional team at
OHACI in ordering chemotherapy safely and securely. And because
the Multi-ACCESS system is fully integrated, the front desk,
clinicians, and pharmacists will be able to access and document
patient information. Integration means all sites will be connected
and therefore patient information can be accessed from all 16
locations,” states OHACI’s Director of Clinical Projects, April
Hammer, RN, OCN. “This innovative, efficient, and easy-to-use
system will enhance the quality of patient care we provide.”
