Karlie Hull, CIO, Hematology &
Oncology Specialists
With 11 years of experience in the Information Technology
field, Ms. Hull has drawn on her expertise to design, implement,
and maintain Hematology & Oncology Specialists’ current
electronic medical record (EMR) network infrastructure. The
11-site EMR network withstood Hurricane Katrina to prove the
value of paperless cancer centers and the integrity of Ms.
Hull’s network design and implementation. In fact, despite the
loss of irretrievable paper charts during the hurricane, HOS
could count on an intact EMR to ensure continuity of care for
their patients following the disaster, regardless of their
patients’ geographical location.
